    Paddle Tire Pressure

    by MotoZack318 » Sun Mar 11, 2007 5:30 pm

I'm going to be running a paddle for the first time (any tips welcome). What tire pressure works good in paddles? Should I use a different pressure for the MSR Ultra Heavy Duty Tube as compared to a stock tube in the paddle? What about tire pressure in the MSR Ultra Heavy Duty Tube on dirt? Any suggestions? Thanks.

9-12 lb. standard or HD tube = same pressure.
I use the Kings brand with 8 paddels 110/100 18 and have yet to find a sand hill this bike can't climb.
Pismo beach and Sand Mountain NV. I will try Dumont Dunes next month. Remember to add a link or two to your chain so the cups on the tire will clear the swing arm. I bought anothger chain and run 117 links. stock is 114.
or buy a rear sprocket a few teeth less. (top end).
I hear a 49 tooth will fit and clear the swing arm with the stock chain set up. Buy a steel sprocket, they are less expencive.

i used the king tire and i hated it...it is a great tire for straight line traction, but trying to spin the tire while turning is hard and when you gas it while in a turn the bike wants to stand up and go straight,,i personaly like the chenshing .great traction and easy to stear and drift the rear wheel. i also run at 10-12psi rear and 12-14 front.
