    Yet another skid plate question

    by Zish » Sun Feb 25, 2007 7:23 pm

i read in the latest dirt rider mag that a skid plate that ties the two sides of the frame together could poss. create a handling issue,
can any one confirm or deny this?
just want to know what to expect

LOL! Now that's a good one! Problem for who? Mere mortals or for someone that can get the last ounce out of a motor and frame? Unless you are Bubba, Reed, Carmichael or someone like that, I seriously doubt you could ever tell the difference. I have heard that it can stiffen the frame. I can see that as a possibility if the frame flexes enough in that area. I think the Dirt Rider boys are running out of creative things to write about.

Here's my take: If that were true (and a real issue) wouldn't you think that a lot of guys would be complaining? I think the next time I fall down I am going to blame my skid plate! Yeah, that's it! The skid plate! I'm stickin' to it...

I'm not that pissed anymore that DR doesn't deliver my subscription even though its paid for like another year. The reason: all the moronic things they and Jimmy Lewis say. Like the 450X jetting is just fine. The Suzuki DRZ 400 is a hot bike??????? PLEASE!!!
I went to the book store in the mall today they had 3 magazines for those paintball losers and not one dirt bike magazine...combined with all the AH losers there in the mall and non-english speakers my promise to move to Idaho one day is looking more and more real every day. For the first 5 minutes in Penneys everyone I heard was speaking Spanish...So I decided I would only speak Spanish too....."Donde vamos?" Que queires comprar?" I said to my wife. Oh, "este camisa parece muy guapo, que pienses mi hija? Dirty looks...from the illegal aliens all around us. Ah caramba, treinta dolares por este? No!!! Escusame, tratamos de encontrar una camisa como este pero en blanca, puede ayudarme?
Effing revenge, a dumb huero who lives here can speak spanish but after 10 years they can't speak anything. Idaho I'm coming!!!!

Idaho is currently under invasion by the mehicanos. they come in droves every week. they sell their homes (where multiple families live) in california and move up here and with the money, buy three new homes. it's crazy! they don't speak english and don't have any sort of income. they just sit and eat in their garage/livingroom conversions all day. if you want to escape the mexicans, try Canada.
South-Eastern Idaho sucks, so Californians should move somewhere else! :)

If we all wait long enough, we'll be able to retire down in Mexico. There will be nobody there.

Come to think of it, we'll have to start mowing our own lawns tho...

I only have to mow the patches in the back yard. We have fancy landscapers(read illegal aliens) that mow the front lawns...

Remember though AS, you can not own property in Mexico unless you are a Mexican citizen.

Wouldn't it be interesting if we only let US Citizens own property here?

What our southern brothers don't know is that over the last 100 years we've secretly amassed 90% of our population within 50 miles of the US border... ssshhhh, we'll be able to take over Idaho and they won't even see it coming
