ideas for a dualsport bike for my wife

I'm looking for any ideas for a dualsport or anything I can make dual sport for my wife who is a beginner ? She is only 5'2 115 lbs so heighth and weight is a big issue.

New england , alot of pole lines boney trails thats why i'm worried about the weight so much

You might look into a CRF 150F or a Yamaha TTR 125.

Don't know the legalities of registering either. Check your DMV.

In California, The smallest Honda that can be registered legally is the XR650L.

KLX250 is light and streetable. Not the best performer either on or off, but would get the job done. If you are going strictly offroad, find an older small displacement XR or newer CRF150F. When I took the Canadian version of the MSF course, many learned on the KLX, many smaller women had no problems with it.
