    Sand Gearing

    by MotoZack318 » Sun Feb 18, 2007 2:32 pm

I just bought a 2003 CR250 for the sand dunes. I'm going to put a paddle on it, along with some new sprockets and chain. I was wondering what the best gearing would be. To gear it bigger in back and smaller in front for more torque, or bigger in front and smaller in back for more speed. Any info is appreciated.
South-Eastern Idaho sucks, so Californians should move somewhere else! :)

You should go bigger in the front AND bigger in the back. I hear over on the other site that is how you get more torque and more top end. :?:
