WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN D739 AND THE D739AT?

I know the 739at is for desert riding and the regular is for int. terrain, but what is the real diff? Rubber compound? Tread pattern? I just bought 739s for the front and rear of my 250r and Dunlop does not make the at in 100/90/19?

 Ok, not that any of you will find this information very useful but I called Dunlop as no one I knew could answer the question.
The tires are exactly the same everything tread, compound. The only difference is the AT model has a thicker inner carcass which better protects against flats, but it also weighs more, that is why they dont have some of the R models (supp. closed course bikes) tire sizes. :)

I would go with the AT. Imo it couldn't be heavier than the maxxis IT's that I have run before, but they don't make the AT for my bike (100/90/19), they do however make a 120/90/19 for the 450's so I went with my only option the regular 739. That's what sparked my curiousity on the matter- finding out I couldn't get the AT (what am I missing out on :-k )

Thanks for reading Ken.

Thanks ANYTHINGFAST I have been wondering the same thing as I need new rubber under my 450R. I think I will try the 120/90-19 AT.

I had started a reply earlier today, but had to go. I just got back. I'm glad that you found out what the difference was. It was basically what I was going to suggest. I do know that the AT has a 7 ply carcass, but I do not know what the regular version has.
