    Anyone running the Talon wheels?

    I was looking at getting a set of these talon wheels click here and was looking for opinions on them, durability, weight, etc. love them or not?

    i've got two sets of these...excel rims and talon hubs with bulldog spokes and nipples. they are much stronger than stock and look great (red hubs silver rims just like the factory honda team runs). one thing you'll notice is you don't have to constantly tighten spokes. this is a combination of the rim and spoke strenth and nipple durability. i'm yet to ding or dent any of these rims.

    Thanks for the info, do the bulldog spokes have a special nipple? or is it the standard square?

    I was looking to get the black rim with red hubs. People are going to laugh, but it will actually look good with the makeover I'm giving my bike lol :)

    Oh they won't laugh,that'll look great. Talon,Excel,Bulldog,all those companies have A-1 reputations.
    do the bulldog spokes have a special nipple
    I think you can get them either way,spline drive or standard.Doug
