 Has anyone heard rumor that you shouldn't transport your CRF in gear, it can wreck your transmission. I did, don't know if related but my transmission locked up doing 60 on the street. The clutch will only work in 2 gears and thats all it will move in. I baby the bike (CRF450X) and have 1600 miles it is a year and a half old Enduro. [My Dream That Came True (Street Legal CRF) Was Crushed][/quote][/b]

Since you run your X on the street, were you running the recommended oil level in the tranny or were you running a full quart?

I always have mine in gear no problems had it seance they came out 1st one they sold here. Were you running a FULL quart, how long were you doing 60.I have run 6 or 7 dual sport events do not know if it makes a flip but I do not let my bike run at hi-speeds to long.I will go fast for awhile then slow her down.
