    Arm Pump Help

    by matty g » Mon Jan 08, 2007 12:48 pm

Has anyone tried Boyesen's shockout mx grip system to help reduce arm pump. Will a softer compound grip work just as well.

    Thanks

A stabilizer will help alot IMO, you don't have to grip the bars so tight fearing they will be ripped out of your hands if you hit a rock, etc.
Or try green finger nail polish it helped that chick in the Disney motocross movie.....

Only cure for arm pump is to ride, ride, ride. Then ride some more. Use your legs to grip the bike, and relax your hands on straights, and in the air. Don't white knuckle the whole time.

    Softer grips make it worse.

Have you heard of "MOTO 911"? It's a pain-relieving spray advertised in the current Dirt Rider magazine. (page 136) Has anyone tried it? Spray on pain relief.

My son wants it, he says he's too lazy to workout to help relieve the pain of arm-pump.
