Update: Steve is about the same as he was yesterday. Started to dial back his sedative and can see some eyelid movement in his right eye. As the nurse stimulates him with pain, he is "posturing" (which is not good). Please PRAY regarding this specific prayer focus & need. Thank you for your continued prayers of faith!

    Prayers in.
That just completely sucks. It's something we've all done and something we all have the duty not to do.
I mean the duty in that kids and less experienced types see us do that stuff and think it's okay, and it's not.
God bless him and his family, and socal nathan for keeping us updated on his friend.
Hang in there. Nathans right on the money with posturing being freakin' bad, but lowering ICP being good.
It makes me want to back hand the next moron I hear who starts in on the 'there's been studies that prove helmets CAUSE injuries'.
We just had this last October a couple always known to wear helmets, but they bought a Harley this time so away with the helmets. Low side skid (from standing on the rear brake) from only about 35mph. Two kids without a Mom now, and a Dad going no place but a nursing home from here on out.

Come on Steve! Hang in there buddy!
We have two companies of Marines running rampant all over the northern half of this island, and three Army regiments pinned down in the southwestern corner, doing nothing. What the hell is going on?

Update: Steve's eyes were open partially as they dialed back the sedative from 12 to 5 ml. His ICP is between 22-24. Thank you for your prayers!

You are amazing Ken! Thank you sooo much. here is the latest update to steve also.

UPDATE: Steve is continuing to show improvement and beginning to show signs of consciousness as his sedatives are reduced. He opened his eyes for a couple minutes on several occasions. We saw him yawn around 10pm last night. The doctors are planning on putting in a feeding tube and may do a tracheotomy so they can remove the tubes from his mouth.

Please bid on the auction for supercross tickets put on by CRFs Only. all proceeds go to the Get Well Steve benifit. here is the link to the auction!

Thanks for the updates. wish we could do more to help him, but he's in good hands. Please continue to keep us informed, and we will keep praying for the best.

ICP has been doing fairly well, yesterday it was a little high, but I believe it stayed under 20. Fever is still there, so they are continually giving him Tylenol. They put in a feeding tube yesterday, and they scheduled a tracheotomy for next wednesday. He seems to be having good days, with less bad one. And I guess he passed the "out of the woods" phase a couple days ago. :)
