Well in the middle of the night it is a good idea to sit, just check the seat for spiders.
Don't fall asleep either. It is actually better to stand as it empties the bladder better which helps prevent infection, or so the doctor said.
Jim, just don't shake with the left hand, LOL.

Spiders ???? ,just because i live in the sticks , does not mean i don't have indoor plumbing  , and actually , with the Dr. visit today he actually added a cast in between my index finger and my thumb , to force it out (boy did that hurt) to hold out my thumb and stretch the muscles and tendons , so it now looks like i am walking around holding a invisible cup or something , he wrapped it so tight i ended up taking 3 Norco in 3 hours , so i said enough of that and loosened up the wrappings enough so i will be able to sleep tonight , i also start Physical ?Therapy tomorrow , it will be 3 times a week for the next 2 weeks at least , i then see him on the 21st , and he will remove the pins , but as of right now , i have 1% finger movement , and i am sure after therapy , i will be real sore , but hopefully , this will start getting the swelling down , as my hand now resembles a surgical glove that someone blew full of air and tied off , its just a round ball with fingers right now......anyway , hopefully , this will be the start to the road to recovery ......yay !!! Invisible cup - I think the visible beverage of your choice would be better, maybe not yet though. The physio will be the worst torture you have ever been through, but if you want to be able to use it you don't have a lot of choice. The only good side is the more you move it the more it will move for you. The swelling will hold you back but I guess the physio will be getting you to ice it once the pins are out and skin is healed a bit.
