    I the throat mic ones at Radio Shack and few months ago when I was there.

    Yes, as someone already pointed out, I also got mine on Ebay.

    For those people with FRS/GMRS radios, be careful and keep the channel at channel 8 or above. This restricts the output power to 1 watt which is plenty of power and it conserves the batteries.

    If you accidently operate the radio on the lower channels in high power mode (5 watts), the tiny AAA or AA batteries will be toast in no time.

    Thanks for that tip...I did not know that. I suppose that info would be in that paperwork I always toss? :roll:
