Two words....RADIATOR GUARDS! Not sure about your prices over there, but I use the Flatlands (about $75 American) and they have saved my rads countless times. All of the most popular brands are fine. Just get some and save yourself the headache/repair $$$.

I usually spend just as much time "in" the dirt as I do "on" it. And trees? Well...that's a whole 'nother story. Believe me, if there was a podium spot for who hit the most trees during the race, I would be virtually guaranteed a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Good luck on the repairs and congrats on the race! Hope everything comes together for you.

    thanks
funny thing is after reading up on the rad guards ive my heart set on flatlands so im going to get a set from ken as they dont sell them anywhere in europe (when we by from USA we get hammered on taxes and a bit on freight otherwise id by all my stuff from ken to be honest ) i also have to get a bash plate .

a new rad over here is about $400 bucks(€300) and in honda service there only $170 but they wont send outside USA ??
so its a bit of a catch 22 -that leads to a delay in gettin rad guards and in the meantime smashing up my rad

p.s i think i might be a contender in those races youre in ,i seem to like encounters with trees and dirt
