Me again. The quad I'm was working on for a buddy runs fine but it does have one minor problem. It is spitting fuel back out the carb when u hit the throttle. to the point it will fill up the air box. I've clean the entire card and this is throwing me for a loop. any idea what might be causing this? TIA

Just change out the Carburetor Float Needle Valve and/or Seat. Each carburetor is a little different - but normally when valve is closed, floats are parallel to where the bowl meets the carburetor body as a general "rule of thumb". (Carburetor is upside down) If the valve is leaking it won't matter where the floats are adjusted. Gas will just keep on coming in... Pull the float pin and inspect the needle and seat. I've had to use pumice on a q-tip to smooth out non removable seats after a noob put a screw driver in there to remove fuel varnish.

You could get lucky and it's just has a little dirt in the valve. You can test - little messy - buy hooking up carb with bowl off and gently pushing up on floats - fuel stops easily - your good to go.
