16 CRF250R dies when pushing idle screw in

Just as the title says. I can start my 16 CRF250R after a few kicks when the idle adjust screw is pulled out. When I push it in the bike dies. I can keep it running by holding the throttle open but as soon as I let off it dies. Would a faulty sensor cause this? I have tried turning the screw up and down several clicks both ways(while pushed in) and it does the same thing. Maybe fuel pump or filter issue? Is also will not start unless the idle adjust screw is pulled out.

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

Does the MAP switch show any codes/blinking ?? .... It could be a number of things , so you need to eliminate things as you go

It could be the fuel pump , or filter , you did not say anything about maintenance , have you checked the valves ?? , was the bike stored for a few months , and this is the first running of it ?? , if so was the fuel run out before it was put away ?? ,

So lets start with the basics :

Switch blinking ??

Been sitting and first running ??

Been running fine then started doing this without warning ??

Maintenance history ??

Air Filter (clean/dirty/freshly serviced and oiled ???)

Spark Plug , brown color/black color/wet with gas/dry ??

Can you hear the pump run when first kicking it ??

Any bike can get crusty in the fuel system if it sits, although fuel injection is less likely to plug completely. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a self solving problem after you ride it for a few minutes.
