So my bike had hard trouble starting. I cleaned the plug and and reshimmed the valves. This was my first time doing them. The valves are in spec and the bike started first kick. My concern is that there seems to be a tick. It is slightly concerning me. I took a video of the bike and here is what sounds like. let me know what you guys think.
Thanks
Ben
if i need to take a better video let me know that too

Welcome to the site !!
It sounds to me like the Timing Chain Tensioner , or the Timing Chain itself is what is rattling .......

Is there a way to check that. I have torn the head apart 5 times now.

On the Tensioner there is a screw , remove that , and get a small thin flat screwdriver that will fit in the opening , you will feel it lock into a notch , turn it slightly and see if there is spring tension on it , if it returns on its own , then the tensioner "should" be good , if it does not the tensioner is bad and needs replaced .... personally I prefer OEM , as opposed to the aftermarket "Manual" ones
If the tensioner springs back then start the bike and slightly turn the screw in either direction with the engine idling , it should go louder and quieter , if it goes quieter and then you release it and it gets louder again then most likely the chain is stretched and needs replaced .... That is about the simplest test

Ok that sounds something like a simple test so I will try it when I get home
