kill switch to wiring under red fuel pump connector block

firstly , hello to all. Can anyone please advise, I bought a 2013 crf 250 r a couple of rides ago and I love it :D.

I have arrived at my 1st service and have noticed the engine oil side stinks of fuel......I hit the forums and am now aware this is common with the injection crfs. I've heard there is no real fix, but one poster mentioned disconnecting the red fuel pump/injection wiring plug at the back of the right hand side rad while the bike is still running to rid the pressure build up on the injector.

Ive tried this and its fiddly to do every time u wanna stop. I'm wanting to put a quality water proof switch on the wiring just below the plug for ease of access, will I need a four wire switch or will cutting the brown and fitting the switch do the trick. If this fix is ok will it cause any problems with air/ airlocks in the fuel line, or damage the injector. As this work round/fix means I will be frequently killing the pump and therefore running the fuel lines dry to relieve pressure on the injector.

I really appreciate any advice before I commit to snipping and soldering etc. If the above is a DEFINITE NO NO please let me know.

P.s what oil volumes are you running in the tranny and the engine. oil filter changed every time.

Bit naughty asking twice on the 1st post, but more knowledgeable advice is needed.

    Thank you, Aaron.
