Good day,
I wonder if someone can assist me.
I took my crf in for a service as it doesn't want to start after my last ride and assuming it was only the valves that needs to be replaced (note it has 100 hours on it).
The last time I rode the bike I was only able to bump start it, little to nun compression on the kickstarter. So I immediately turned the bike off and parked it.
From what I heard if the conrod/big end bearings needs replacing, the bike would have missed and the timing would be out thus the engin wouldn't sound right, but it sounded normal as ever.
I have already replaced the piston and rings 10 hours ago.
I got two bike specialists to quote on it and this was the outcome:
Quote 1:

Re –Seat Stainless valve kit
As one can see there is quite a difference between what needs to be replaced - I am not very acquainted with the engine itself and would appreciate anyone help on how to go forward regarding this matter.
Thanks,
