    my 2009 crf250R leaks fuel, please help

    i have recently purchased a 2009 crf250R and when ever i lay it on its side on its stand to wash it i find that it leaks alot of fuel and floods when i try to start it after. just wondering if this is normal and how i can stop it

    Either your Needle/Seat is sticking , or the float (attached to the needle/seat) is out of adjustment

    You will need to pull the carb , and reset the float level , the process is shown in the manual , if you dont have a Float Level Gauge http://www.crfsonly.com/catalog/product ... ts_id/4092 you can just use a adjustable caliper or ruler

    I have the same problem with my 09.
    Even leaning it against my leg when I heave it up on to a stand will cause a bit of leakage.
    Was told it's a common problem..
