Hello all, I wanted to ask your feedback on footpeg lowering kits. I'm 6'4" and currently using bar risers. I feel that when I stand up I'm holding the bike with basically my shins, and would like to lower my foot pegs to get a little more grab with my knees.

So far the only type of lowering kits I can find are the different fast way foot pegs that have the lowboy setting, and the STR lowering kit I found here in the 450r shop.

Does the STR kit fit on the 2007 CRF250R?

Don you know how low each of these kits drop the footpegs?

Last, do you know of any other footpeg lower kit?

I'm 6'3" and have used them and they work very well. They will fit your CRF. I also use the Fastway Footpegs we offer in the lowboy position. This moves the pegs 1/2" down and 1/2" back. Not only lowers the pegs but opens up the cockpit a bit more. Then I have the tall seat foam, SUB mount (to raise the bar mounting point), and use the Pro Taper Pastrana bend (tallest bar bend). All of these makes a significant difference when standing. We stock all of these if you have any questions about any one of them let me know.

And I just want to confirm they fit the 2007 crf250r?

According to STR's website they lower the foot pegs 1/2". Yes they will fit your 07 CRF250R. I had them on my 12 CRF450X for a short time, but wanted to put the kickstand back on.
