    CRF250R Cylinder Head Compatablity

    by chopshop » Sat Mar 08, 2008 11:53 pm

Im looking for a complete new cylinder head assembly and found one that is a 2006. Will this work on my 2004 CRF250R? I know there were some major changes from the 04 and 05 to the 06. Are any of them too significant to not make this work. What about an 07' cylinder head?

They are all interchangeable. The 2007 R was the best year so far for flow and intake velocities.

    07 better than '08?

I may need to replace my '06 head? What's the best year to use? 07 better than 08?

    Thanks

07 is the best. 08 went to a smaller exhaust valve stem.

If I go to an '07 head do I need to put in new valves and springs or can I use my existing '06 ones (only 12 hours on them)?
