    Rad Shround Bolt.

    by dirtbikermicah » Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:18 am

Is there anyway of removing these Radiator Shroud bolts, without damaging the gas tank? I saw the "How-To" article from Skoot, that was for the 450x. but i was wondering if i can do that without damaging my tank.

My Problem: the shroud plastic slipped off the bolt, and i cant get it back on. so i need to remove the bolt and put it back through the plastic then put it back on.

Any one understand this post?

If you have the bolt stuck in the hole still, try to get a small flat tipped screwdriver in there, and hold it tight while you extract the bolt. If you can get the bolt out, use a washer to prevent it from coming back through the plastic. Let me know if that helps any!
We have two companies of Marines running rampant all over the northern half of this island, and three Army regiments pinned down in the southwestern corner, doing nothing. What the hell is going on?

Did you try giving it a good coat of WD-40 or some other kind of oil, and see if it will help it break loose?
