Would it ever be a problem if you use too much oil on the Air filter? because i dont want to screw it up again, and because i just spent, $700 getting my bike fixed because dirt was getting through the engine(through the airfilter)............

Yes. It would. Use pj1 oils and follow the instrutcions, you won't go wrong doing that.

did you know the PJ1 air filter oil is Red? its kinda cool........... so there should be just a good thin layer of the oil evenly around the filter?

More importantly, make sure you have a good seal between the air box and filter.

well if you put too much oil on there, dirt will stick to like its supposed to but it may and probably will clog your air filter. as said before i would recommend PJ air filter oils, they come in red so make sure everything is red but not dark just even coat the whole filter and make sure you have a good seal to prevent dirt getting inbetween the filter
