Anybody know when they are coming out with a big bore for the 08. My grandson wants more ponies.

    07' won't work.

I bought one (08 CRF250R ) and was wondering when the performance parts are coming out for it. The 07 big bore kit won't work.

I suggest that you contact the big bore company of choice and ask them that. Personally, I feel you should have gotten the 450r vs. spending all that money on an Athena or other.

He was 14 and I bought the 06' CRF450X for him and it was too heavy for him and it didn't corner as well as he liked. I bought him a 00' CR250R and it was too pipey for him. I bought him a 08' CRF250R and he just want a little more horsepower #-o . I'm going to buy him an 09' CRF450R next year.

    I think he's just spoiled!!!

I looked for some of the manufacturers for the kits and really didn't spend enough time looking and was hoping that someone had already done the research.

    Thanks for the reply.

It was a dealer on EBay and when I asked he said "Sorry, This will not work for the 2008 CRF250R".

I don't know what they changed on the cylinder configuration but it sounds like something....
