Hey once i get my bike back from the shop (they replaced my valves) and i was wondering do i need to break them in???? or is it just good to go?

In with your oil, add a little sand to kind of scour them clean of any debris.
I think that you should be good to go.

The sand acts like sandpaper. If there is any dirt or dust, the sand will (I hate to say scrape) scrape it off.

dude thats all BS. if you put sand in your oil you will screw up your bike. im not that stupid. i dont appreciate your sarcasm

I like to check valves after first ride.
And change oil as I usually get some debris in motor.
Did they tell you what shims they put in?
Will save some time if you know shim sizes.

no i dont currently know the shim size, but i will be getting my bike back possibly tomarow..... so how oftenly should i be checking and adjust my valves?

DBM,
did you go with stainless or OEM??
Stainless will seat within about 10 hours. After that recheck and adjust as necessary. After that you shouldn't have to check very often.
Find out what shim sizes are in there, it WILL save you time if you know what's in there and can get the new ones before you pull the cam.

I went with OEM. when i get my bike back i will tell you tha shim size AS!!!
