    tire pressure

    what should i be running in my front and rear tires i ride a lot of rocky rooty rutted trails i have an 04 250 r if that matter at all thanks guys

    Around 15 psi +/-.

    Yep. You want to run a higher psi when you have sharp/hard stuff like rocks,roots,square edge bumps where ever you ride. To soft, you can pinch a tube on a hard impact.

    RE: September races and what Dunlop Recommends



    Tip of the month: Dunlop will introduce the D756 in 110/80-19 in September. This is the standard D756 and not the Race Replica.



    D756 Standard tires are available in these sizes 80/100-21 front, 100/90-19 rear, 110/80-19 rear, 110/90-19 rear and 120/80-19 rear.



    Dunlop recommends the following for tire size usage for 756:

    100/90-19 rear for 125cc two-strokes

    110/80-19 rear for 250F four-strokes

    110/90-19 rear for 250cc two-strokes

    120/80-19 rear for 250cc two-stroke and 450F four-strokes



    D756 Race Replica tires are available in these sizes 80/100-21, 110/80-19, 120/80-19.



    Pro Motocross/Supercross races

    Aug 31-Sept 3rd Wortham TX, Freestone County Raceway AMA Motocross series round 11

    Typical conditions: 1st National held at this track, it has black clay based dirt with sand mixed in.

    Front tire: D756 Race Replica with tire pressure of 12.0 PSI

    Rear tire: D756 Race Replica with tire pressure of 12.3 PSI

    September 8-9th San Bernardino CA, Glen Helen Raceway AMA Motocross series round 12

    Typical conditions: Glen Helen makes many track changes for this National event. Normally they add a lot of sand and the track develops deeper ruts than normal.

    Rear tire: D756 Race Replica with tire pressure of 13.5 PSI

    September 22-23rd Budds Creek MD, Budds Creek Motocross Des Nations

    Typical conditions: Clay base with sawdust mixed in. Track develops deep ruts in the sawdust areas. There are great elevation changes at this track.

    That's alot of really good info IF you are running soft motocross (D756) tires on tracks.

    ~, did you see the last section of Dunlop's newsletter, applying to Off-Road/Enduro? For that type of competition Dunlop is recommending their new D952 (MULTI-TERRAIN OFF-ROAD) and D742FA (MX/OFF-ROAD MEDIUM-HARD TO MEDIUM-SOFT TERRAIN). Recommended tire pressures are 13psi (front) and 14psi (rear).
