    Spoke Problem

    by Honda17 » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:09 pm

I have been very good about checking my spokes before every ride using a torque wrench and my wheel rear is shot. The spokes have bent and now when i go to tightien the spokes the nipples just spin like they are stripped. has any one else experienced this problem and is there anything to do to help prebvent this when I get a new wheel.

The stock Honda spokes aren't the best. I'd recommend ordering a set of Buchannon replacement stainless steel spokes and use anti-seize on the threads before you lace them up.
