    How do i check my Trannsmission oil level?

    Hey im really comfused on this because on my 2005 CRF250R, i dont know how to check the level of my transmission oil. and the manual didnt say how to check it either :( so can some one help me with this? because i need to put a little bit more in. i got my engine oil good i just need some one to tell me how to check Transmission oil!!!! PLEASE! 8) :D

    Drain and refill with the proper amount indicated in your manual. The check process is incomplete and inaccurate.

    The manual has a procedure in which the transmission check bolt (the one with a copper crush washer) is removed and fluid is added until it runs out.

    This can give you erroneous results.

    The correct way IMHO is to drain it completely, measure out the proper amount of new fluid and install.

    Yeah, ok thanks 124, and ~. i figured that i would have to drain the oil then measure it again, that was i did lst time but i wanted to see if for this time i could get away with adding a little oil :lol:
