Whats the best synthetic oil to use?

    Whats the best synthetic oil to use?

    I have a 2005 CRF250R, I'm thinking of swithching to synthetic oil. I don't ride extra hard, trails and track, also just 3 or 4 times a month, but I enjoy keeping my toys looking and running MINT.
    What is the best synthetic oil to use?
    Can I use the same on both sides, engine & transmission?
    I currently use Bel-ray gear oil for tranny and Castrol ACT-EVO 4 stroke for engine side.
    Appreciate the help.

    Maxima Extra Full ester Synthetic 10W-40 engine side.

    Maxima MTL tranny side.

    Do you think Maxima is better than Mobile 1 or castrol synthetic?

    is Maxima Extra Full ester Synthetic 10W-40 the name?
    or is it Maxum4 Extra?
    I can't seem to find Maxima full ester

    Why Amsoil?
    Do you think Amsoil is better than Maxum?
    I heard some good things about Mobil 1 for bikes.

    if u go to the amsoil website, they say things that actually convince you a lot... i honestly havent tried the maxim, mobil 1 or anything so i am not gonna give any opinions on those.

    The problem with that is, if you goto Mobile 1 or Maxima website, they all talk up their own.

    I'm really looking for users of a product, that they are astatic about, like ~ answered back.

    I am ecstatic about Shell Rotella T synthetic. IT's 5w-40 and it works great! :)

    Uh Oh, Im using 40 weight ball bearing, guaze pads, and Quaker State.... no, make the Penzoil.
    $1500 worth of mods to realize I cant buy skill!
