There, there boys, no name calling at all unless we're refering to the AMA, the extremist tree huggers, etc.,etc.
dirtbikermicah, you've got to be really clear if you're joking about something like frivilous lawsuits. That very thing has cost everyone in the country a lot, let alone what it's done and is doing to off-road motorsports. People who don't know you or haven't seen you posting on here for very long naturally may think that you'd do something as rotten and self-absorbed as suing a boot company.
I think it's clear now that you were just kidding around, a good thing for all of us. Doug

I hear a new Visa commercial somewhere in all of this:
    New dirtbike: $5,900.00
    Protective gear: $600.00
Membership at the local track: $300.00
Retainer fees and law suits: $4,500.00

Reading about people thinking about suing:
    Priceless.

You guys have just made my day. :D
I'm gonna go watch Grumpy Old Men, now. :o
I desire more (how did he say it?) "Top Notch Comedy".
    That's awesome.

Micah - respect, bro. I hope you think I'm laughing with you, and not at you. ;) But hey - there have been more frivilous law suits over the years, though. How about the cigarette one a few years back? "How dare I get lung disease from smoking! The tobacco industry must be punished!" (yeah. and firemen rush into burning buildings and breathe in all the ash, soot, and smoke 'cause it's fun, right?). :?

Right, on now to Top Notch Comedy :D
    Grumpy Old Men it is!
    Great flick.

if i were you i would think twice before suing anyone, people suing other people out of control like you are thinking of doing is the reason motorcycle insurance is so high. do everyone a favour and dont sue.

go ahead and try to sue them, but your chances of getting anything out of it are slim because im sure alpinestars doesnt guarantee their product to protect you from all types of crashes. As with any product theres always a line in the manual somewhere that gets the company off the hook.
