    Nice work 124. I am going to check mine. When you say lube, do you mean water proof grease or motor oil? Then you lube the part you referred to in the diagram? Thanks!

    Does the noise go away when you raise the throttle?
    If so, that counterweight and/or spring isn't functioning properly, as it should be swinging out of the way like 124 mentioned.

    I'd use assembly lube or engine oil.
