well when i put all the gears in as it said in the manual, i put the shift lever on so i could try to run it through and it seemed to work the gears changed, but this is with the case split, ohh and i was missing a thrust at the end of the balancer shaft right before the case and the shift lever.

missing trans parts is not acceptable when assembling a trans or any part of a CRF for that matter. if they weren't needed honda would not have included them.

That's what I figured we put it back together and it runs great started first 3 kicks, but there is a tiickingcoming from the airbox , I read thatit might be the came chain tensioned or something in the carb
