Boots detroyed from starting 08 crf250r

    Have the same problem here, not a tuning issue at all, bike starts well but you still have to kick it!! Got a great conditon Left A-star Tech 3 if anyone needs one??? LOL

    I have an '07 250R. Hundreds of kicks...I don't have that issue. Did you install woodworking equipment on the right side of your bike???? Like a portable router table or sander???

    Sry, but not sure how the bike could eat the inside of your boot. I didn't thing the '08 was any different than an '07 in that respect.

    maybe thats what i did??? :lol: The router!! LOL

    Nah Its where the kick start goes below the peg and your foot just turns in slighly, i only noticed a cpl weeks back (when riding through a river) :shock:

    Jethro, Nice Bike!

    What part of Mobile? I grew up near Cottage Hill and Demotropolis. Where do you ride around there? Travel to new atmore track? Visited that graveyard past tillmans corner. Dissapointing. B.I.L went to atmore. He said a little sandy but fun.

    Funny, I only have that problem if I'm not careful. :? If I watch what I'm doing, its not that hard to keep only half the boot on the kickstarter and thereby miss the edge of the peg entirely. ON the other hand though, My kickstarter is wearing out from slamming into the peg every kick. You know how honda built in a extra thick part for this? I've already worn that out!
