    Kouba Link on CRF250L

    by ggadwa » Tue Jun 02, 2015 10:56 am

Just installed the Kouba Lowering Link on the 250L. Wondering if those with the Kouba Link had to adjust the SAG on their 250L. I'm 170 lbs. with gear on and just heading out to see what the suspension feels like. Sure do like the 1.75 inch lowering. I'm 5'10 but do like the lower center of gravity. Been riding dirt bikes since the 60's and I'm in my late 60's....and still lovin' two wheels in the dirt.

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

Not sure if the setting is the same on the 250L as the 450X with the 1.75 , but if so , your sag should be about 80mm instead of 100mm , you should also have to RAISE the forks in the clamps 6mm , to compensate so the bike is balanced front to rear , so its not like a chopper (i have the 1.75 on my 450X and love it)

Contact Kouba and ask for Norm , or email him directly , he is the guy that designed it , and he can give you exact settings for your bike (provided you have already put the proper springs in for your weight)
