    Lowering 2006 450x

    HAS anyone used a lowering link.The bike is to tall.Do you use a link in back and then lower the front forks the same?

    Another one of us "height Challenged" guy's.
    Yes to both to your questions. I have the same year & model bike as you and used a link on the rear & dropped the forks 1".
    Bike handles great and much more secure feeling while riding. I also run a 110 size rear and not a 120 which is taller.

    Easy to install & worth the money for sure ! You will be very happy with the results.

    I run one also ,and have the same bike , the Kouba CRF4 (1.75in) , works great , and Norm is a great guy (they make them near where i live) and if you have any issues , you can call him and he will help you with any setup issues/questions

    I run my forks 6mm up in the clamps and it works fine , the only thing you have to get used to is the sag will be way different , instead of 100mm like normal it will be around 80mm
