Hi everyone.
Been lurking here for a while now, reading and learning.
Finally come into the light as I can’t find an answer

Want to put stiffer springs f/r in my 450x

Im 6'2" and 230 pound

I have been to R/T Suspension And used there calculator to find what I need.

How do I use this information to buy of this site (CRFs ONLY).
Looking at the Factory Connection Fork Pressure Spring but the weights of compression are way way different to what R/T says.

From R/T Suspension calculator
FRONT FORK SPRINGS
Recommended Fork Spring Rate: 0.526 kg/mm

Avalable from CRFs ONLY
SHOWA 1.01, 1.15, 1.42, 1.61, 1.76, 1.9 kg/mm

Rear seems ok
REAR SHOCK SPRINGS
Recommended Shock Spring Rate: 6 kg/mm
And 5.9 or 6.1 kg/mm avalable

the recommendation is a best guess and won't match up exactly to spring rates available. so, get as close as you can and determine if you want them to be above or below the recommendation. remember the springs are just to keep the suspension from sagging into the stroke beyond the designed race sag.

Hi Ken

I understand that the springs keeps bike positioned for optimum use of shock travel, adjustment of spring to suit live load.

Front shocks
What I cant work out is the relationship between R/T suspensions weight recommendation at 0.526kg with their range going from 0.38kg to 0.52kg. R/T say 0.45kg is standard.
And your spring rates
The lightest spring you sell is 1.01kg going all the way to 1.9kg

Rear shock weights seem to be the same. Your site compared to R/T Suspensions spring calculator.

Thanks Neil
