    by rpxtreme03 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 9:38 am

i am a170# b class hare scrambler in upstate ny i bought a 2006 crf250r that had a tbt suspension set for a 185# A class motocross rider the suspension deflects off every thing even after respringing it. i have done a lot of seals and stuff in my suspension but never played with the shims much id like to try and soften it up some to suite my riding more. any advice? i would like to try and learn the black magic of suspension or atleast a basic understanding i will post my current shim stacks on here soo and you can see what im dealing with. thanks =]]

shim stacks are a bit of a trial and error and a bit science. you won't get many real suspension tuners sharing their shim stacks with you and the rest of the world. you can purchase this spreadsheet that will help get you close and then from there you'll have to test and adjust the stack to your preferences.
