    2011 crf250r fork clamp help

    by suspensionfetish » Mon Oct 17, 2011 8:14 pm

can you slide the forks up in the clamp lowering the bike a bit without shortening the suspension travel if so how much could you slide them before you would start to shorten the travel my crf250r manual says the forks are not adjustable in the clamp but it looks to me you could move them up about a half inch any help is appreciated thank you

welcome to CRF's Only! you can raise the forks in the suspension to lower the front but it will alter the rake. to keep the rake as it should be you'll need to install a lowering like the kouba we carry. this will lower the back and allow you to raise the forks and maintain the proper rake.

    again, welcome!
