    Sliding front forks up?

    by xxx4Cxxx » Tue Sep 01, 2009 9:05 am

I was wondering, the bike feels like it wants to push a little in a tight turn and sometimes gives you the feeling you are going to wash out... I shift my weight to the front before entrance but I thought about moving the forks up a 1/8" in the clamps. would this help at all? or should I keep them where they were at stock? :?:

Pushing the forks up will help it turn better, but less stable at high speeds. and visa versa lowering them will increase stability at high speed but turning is decreased.

Try some adjustments. Softer/faster(CCW) on the compression 2 clicks, and harder/slower(CW) on the rebound. Make sure you bleed the air out of your forks.
