    Hi

I believe my front forks are slightly soft, I have the correct spring rate. Rather than use the compression clickers would it be ok to use a heavier weight oil, it currently has the stock weigh in there 5.0.

    ANY THOUGHTS?

    Thanks

you can use 7.5 or 10wt oil in the outer chamber. That helps bottoming somewhat as well as raising the oil volume.
The question is whether you have the right springs according to your weight?

With heavier oil, you may notice a slight difference in lo-speed characteristic of the fork action. However, oil viscosity is not a good replacement for proper valving. Your fork is bottoming because it's going through the stroke too fast. Oil viscosity and clicker adjustment will not help in this situation. The speed of the fork is too high for either of those things to have a big impact on the result. The fork needs to be revalved, proper springs installed and oil height set.
