    Rebound clickers

    by rarelyfast » Wed Jul 08, 2009 4:25 pm

My friend has a '06 crf250r, I have a '04. Both bikes front ends are getting high coming off the face of jumps. His worse than mine. He adjusted his rebound three out on the right side, when he went to adjust the left side in (brake side) to come three out, the clicker just keeps turning cw and does not stop. I checked mine today and it's doing the exact same thing. Anyone have this problem? Is this common with the 250? What's the fix?

    Thanks in advance,

    Lyle

I finally tore down the fork. Turns out the damping rod somehow came loose from the center bolt. Some threads on the end of the damping rod are damaged but maybe not too bad. I've got a new center bolt and damping needle on order.

Well just opened my forks and everything was Ok There 8) The center bolts threads were just probably remain loosen from the damper piston rod so that thing was moving freely in the fork since the previous seal replacing.
That's just miracle that anything didn't take damage :)

    or........ dunno what happened..? :P
