by marks crf » Mon Aug 04, 2008 10:12 pm

hi, i have a 2005 crf250r and you how the suspension is adjustable, well you know how you can adjust a screw on top of the gas canister with only a flat head screw driver well i was just mucking around and thought what would happen if i go clock wise to see how my bike would handle but i got to the end of the clicks and kept turning and i snapped the end off leaving the metal tuning thing stuck in their but i managed to put the broken end back in and it sits in their nicely but i can't adjust the clicks

so can you help me out it would be a BIG HELP :D
and if you can, can you tell me what can i do to fix it please

Don't force the screws, they'll break!

I'd recommend you DON'T attempt any carb adjustments until you gain some 'feel'.

It will probably be cheaper and easier for you to eBay a shock than to try to repair the old one.
Use only Genuine Interocitor Parts.06 250X Flatlands skid and rad guards. Clarke 3.1 gal tank. Cycra Probends, Rekluse Pro, correct springs. Horn, mirror, brake/tail/license lights and a hanger for the plate. That is all.

This is not the same description of what you did in the other post. You broke your shock. Take it in, it can be fixed, but it won't be cheap.
