As i jump my CRF450r if i land on the rear tire first the frn t forks feel hard! if i land on both tires at the same time (no angle) the front is smooth as ever... i bleed the air every ride and cannot find out the issue. Are my forks to high in the clamps, maybe the forks have beld oil out. I would think oil is an issue since it lands easy if i land level. Any ideas? I have a fork oil measuring tool but dont know how far the oil should be up these forks.

its bec when u land on the rear the rear acts like a pivot and slams your front down

litleboy has it about right. when you land on the rear tire it acts like a pivot causing the front tire to rotating around that axis...the end result is the front accelerates creating a greater downward force. you can lessen this effect by accelerating the rear wheel on contact. timing, throttle control, and body position are key to pulling this off successfully (read: without injury).

think about pulling a catwalk in 1st gear then pull the clutch in fast your front will slam down or slamming on the brakes
