    How many clicks?

    by beachpinz » Tue May 08, 2007 2:46 pm

Bike is a CRF450X with a Precision Concepts revalve. Suspension is great almost everywhere, especially at speed. Where it's bad is in rocky terrain especially hills - worse than stock. Deflects off everything.

I had to reduce compression to 16 clicks out. I'm worried that I might be at the edge of the range and maybe I should send it back for an adjustment. I'd rather not though.

My question is what is the clicker range for fork compression? Honda says 16. I can get 21. Are all 21 clicks usable?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't go out that far, keep it to recommended clicks out, call the suspension buys you had do your work, maybe change oil level slightly.

The best suggestion - Make sure you have a manual!
