06' CRF250R Rear suspension question: Riding condition

Forgive me for the simplistic question(s) but it's been years since I worked on tuning shocks. Think I'm at the point where I need to dial in the rear on mine, starting to notice some things now that I am getting a little faster. Want to make sure I understand the low and high speed compression settings in regard to the the progressive linkage. My last CR250 did not have both compression adjustments iirc.

I ride on some intermediate, hard-packed tracks in SC. The front seems to do most things well, a little stiff but I think that is balancing out as I get/go faster. On the rear however I am feeling the tire chop on small rolling bumps when accelerating out of hard-packed bumpy turns. The chop is worse if I try to carry a higher gear(3rd) and fan the clutch a bit to get moving. Is this something that I should focus on the high-speed circuit of the shock? I will soften/adjust at 2 clicks until I can get some of the harshness out I guess. The shock seems to work pretty well everywhere else.

I weigh 195-200lbs in equiptment, sag is set and within spec(suprising to me) and the suspension is all stock except I have raised the front forks 5mm in the clamps for quicker turn/lower height. Any help appreciated...
