    oil filter

    are the stainless washable oil filters a good choice?

    Personally I use KN116 filters. For me it's not about which will do the job it's about making routine maintenance as quick and simple as possible. I don't want to clean an oil filter.

    After a few oil changes the stainless filter pays for itself, also there's less environmental impact. Over the years you can save hundreds of dollars. I researched the filtering ability and it is about the same as paper. Cleaning is simple and easy, spray it with carb cleaner from the inside out, dry with compressed air and your done in a minute.
