With the more expensive trail tech you get your average speed, tachometer, and hour meter. Seems worth it if you don't have a hour meter and want to know what rpm's your bike runs at with the average speed of the overall ride.

the Vector has no tach, does have lube reminder, and maint reminder. also has lap timer mode, counter, pace and data review, but you'll need the remote control that doesn't come in the package. Then it has a rally mode, adjust trip-distance edit. this also requires the remote.
The rest is the same.

With the Vector, select both the extras and put it all in the shopping cart.

That might make your choice easier. It did for me.
P.S. First time /Long time . Love the info all around

Just installed a trail tech vector on my 09 450x today. It took me about 2 hrs but I took my time and neatly ran the wiring. Haven't ridden it yet, but cranked it up and my engine temp gushed worked, and also spun my front wheel and the speedometers worked. Pretty easy install and looks good. I'm looking forward to testing it out this weekend!

I have the Trailtech Striker on my 2009 crf250x. Basically the same as the Vector but it has a battery voltage gauge as well. I did not like the Vapor as I don't need a tach on my bike. I was going to get the Vector but the Striker has all the same things plus the voltage. Also the remote for the Vector works with the Striker as well.
