All you have to do is close your eyes 5 feet before you start going up the ramp and keep them closed until you hit the ground... Done!
Ok, just kidding... DON'T do that....
It is completely normal... a 65' tabletop seems harmless because of the flat area in the middle.. If you come up short, no big deal. Your brain knows that, so It doesnt' process the danger factor..
A 65' triple, whole different story, you may clear the 65' tabletop, and unless you have icewater running through your veins, or you are Kevin Windham, your brain WILL tell you that you are CRAZY! and naturally, you will be hesitant to go the same distance simply because of the gap...
It is all a mental thing..... you have to train your brain.
And really good suspension helps too....
