06 X has the drain screw , I installed one on my 02 450R , I can't remember if 08 has it or not , but I know for a fact 06 does , as my X is a 06 , and that is what I ordered for my R and it now has a drain screw ..

What most of us do for the AP is to put a small O-Ring on the linkage for the slide .... I will find the link to the "mod" and post it
