Low voltage headlight idling

Hey guys I have a Crf 450x 2006 I was riding on the highway when the bike shut off came out to be the stator put a new one and now when idling the headlight is very low when I rev it up it lights up normally looking for some help to try to fix this problem or if I need to return the stator to the ebay seller and tell them to send me another one with my old stator just turning the engine with out turning on the bike will light up normally . Thanks for any advice
