About 2 weeks ago I noticed a rhythmic ticking noise near the head. I thought the valve clearance might be off so i re-shimmed the valves checked all fluids. The mild ticking noise remained. Went on a 15 mile ride with no issues. Then on a subsequent ride after 1 mile the bike suddenly and without warning seized (fortunately about 1 mile from my house). Upon inspection back at my house all my coolant was in the cylinder and engine oil however, none in the transmission fluid. Pulled the head / cylinder and found piston split in half with massive damage to cylinder/head. Engine is a strike. So now that the emotion has faded for a week, any ideas on how my coolant got in my cylinder? Keep in mind the radiator was full of coolant and oil looked good and undiluted 1 mile prior to it seizing. Thanks.
